Logistics About Your Stay
Important phone numbers
We ask that you give these numbers out only for special logistical circumstances, i.e. a parent who needs to drop off/pickup their child after the start of the program. We recommend you call to check in with your school upon arrival at our program and periodically throughout the week. Concerned parents can then call the school to get an update, rather than calling our office. If you feel it is absolutely necessary to give parents a contact phone number, only give them the number of the Administrative Office.
In the Event of an Emergency
For emergencies, please leave these phone numbers with the Principal of your school or some other contact person who will be remaining at school. If a parent has an emergency, they can call the school and get the appropriate number. Ideally, the Principal or contact person at the school will be able to discern what is truly an emergency versus a concerned parent. Leave an itinerary with your school contact person so they will know where the students are at all times. This will expedite contacting a participant.

Please call this number for scheduling questions, directions, gate passes, coordination of departures and arrivals, emergency messages for participants and general information.

This number can also be used to inform the site managers if your arrival time is later than expected on your arrival day.

Use this number for emergencies only if your group will be staying at the campus during their program.
Lost and Found (209) 379-1001
This number is for the main office that receives all lost and found items within Yosemite National Park.
Road and Weather (209) 372-0200
This number is updated by the National Park Service as conditions change. It will provide a daily weather forecast as well as any restrictions on Park roads.
