Chaperones and Students
Below is information on behavioral guidelines, responsibilities, and required forms that will help enjoy your program safely. We've found that providing clear guidelines about roles and behaviors helps participants get the most out of their Yosemite Institute experience.
Responsibilities and Behavioral Guidelines
All participants -- chaperones and students -- should read our program guidelines and expectations.
Students should also read and sign our student contract, which is under "Required Forms" below.
Adult chaperones have specific supervision, participation, and safety responsibilities during the Yosemite Institute program. All adults in the program should read about chaperone responsibilities, so that they know what is expected of them.
Required Forms
All students and chaperones are required to complete a registration form (English or Spanish). Submit your completed and signed form to your group's coordinator.
- Registration, medical, and acknowledgement of risk form (3 pages)
- Spanish registration, medicine, and acknowledgement of risk form (3 pages)
Each student must also read the student contract, print it, initial each statement, and sign and date the bottom line. Submit your signed contract to your group's coordinator.
