Pre-Trip Curriculum
To further prepare students for their visit to Headlands Institute, we have prepared pre-trip curriculum which relate to our areas of study, teambuilding and cooperation, and packing for your trip. Students who have been academically and logistically prepared in advance receive the greatest benefit from their Headlands Institute experience. We have also prepared post-trip curriculum for you to use in your classroom after your visit to the Marin Headlands.
Headlands Institute has also prepared vocabulary for your class to review that corresponds to our areas of study.
In addition, field science educators from Headlands Institute are able to visit your classroom before and after your trip—at no additional cost—to help you prepare for, and reinforce the learnings from, your visit.
