Meals and Lodging

A participant at Headlands Institute enjoys a delicious and nutritious breakfast of fruit, eggs, potatoes, and a muffin.Meals

Headlands Institute provides all meals during your visit except lunch on the first day. Healthy breakfasts and dinners are served in our dining hall. Students eat lunches in the field after the first day.

Students enjoy bunking in the dorms at Headlands Institute.

Lodging

Room and board is included in the cost of tuition. If your group is staying overnight, students and chaperones will sleep in dormitories, separated by gender and supervised. Your group must include a chaperone of each gender for overnight stays.

Safety 

Safety is our highest priority at Headlands Institute. Since 1977, we have been a risk management leader in the field of environmental education. Learn how we have achieved this strong safety record.

Transportation

Transporting your students to Headlands Institute and returning them home is your responsibility. View our maps and directions.

Once your students have arrived on campus, we will provide any necessary transportation during their visit.
