Headlands Institute is an educational nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring a personal connection to the natural world and responsible actions to sustain it. Our conference and retreat facilities offer your group a great meeting place and an opportunity to help our environment and our communities.
- We are a Bay Area Certified Green Business. As an environmental nonprofit, we seek to reduce our ecological footprint and model thoughtful business practices to our participants and community.
- As a National Park Partner, we support the National Park Service's
mission by educating our guests about their connections to the natural
world and actions to sustain it.
- Over 10,000 students from the Bay Area and beyond experience nature firsthand through our Field Science Education program each year. Conferences held at Headlands Institute help fund scholarships so that youth from all backgrounds can participate in our programs
