Armstrong Scholars Program
Each summer, a diverse group of young women are selected to participate in a unique and exhilarating adventure in Yosemite National Park the Armstrong Scholars program.
Dates: Sunday, July 20 to Saturday, August 2, 2008
Ages: 15 to 18
Cost: $150
Application deadline: April 4, 2008
Young women ages 15 to 18 are encouraged to apply. Participants are chosen from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds and geographic locations. The experience costs only $150, because it is partially underwritten by the Joie Armstrong Memorial fund.
